NUESTRA HISTORIA

 

            La Iglesia CCM El Faro fue fundada por el Pastor Vergara en el año 2002, afiliada a las Asambleas de Dios en EUA y perteneciente al Distrito Multicultural de la Florida (FMD). Una vez aquejado por una enfermedad mortal, el pastor Vergara se dió a la tarea de esperar que Dios enviara los pastores que tomarían la rienda y seguirían con tan Preciado ministerio. Aunque el grupo para entonces era muy reducido, sin duda Dios escuchó su oración y, por la gracia de Dios, la iglesia sigue en pie. La transición pastoral se hizo efectiva el 7 de noviembre del 2014, día en que los Pastores Lazaro y Mayelin Rojas fueron instalados oficialmente. La iglesia ha pasado por diferentes etapas, como cualquier otro misterio, teniendo como mayor reto la realidad de no tener un edificio propio. No fue hasta Febrero del 2017 que el Señor concedió a la iglesia la bendición de comprar su propio edificio hacia el área Este de Tampa, donde la iglesia se reune en la actualidad y donde cumple con el llamado de Dios.

OUR HISTORY

 

            The church CCM El Faro was founded by Pastor Vergara in the year 2002, affiliated to the Assemblies of God in the US, and part of the Florida Multicultural District (FMD). Once afflicted by a deadly disease, pastor Vergara waited for God to send the pastors that would take would take the reins and continue with such precious ministry. Although by that time the group was very small, God heard his prayer and, by His grace, the church is still standing. The pastoral transition was effective on November 7 of 2014, when pastors Lazaro and Mayelin Rojas were officialy installed. The church has gone through different stages, just as any other ministry, having as the biggest challenge the reality of not having a building. It wasn't until February of2017 that the Lord granted the blessing of buying their own building towards the East area of Tampa, where the church currently meets and fulfills God's calling.
